Chapter 153: Among Those Who Came For Her

'If one of you would please tell me what the hell you are doing here. We have been seating her for more than two freaking hours in silence," Heather finally said after she had enough with her family who just kept staring at her as if she was a portrait, they made no move to talk and they didn't do as they would do soon.
They were looking like someone forced them to be present here.
'What are we waiting for, Emmy?" Mike asked.
'My assistant, I forgot something important at the office, I am supposed to get Heather there but since you want everything confidential, I have to make sure that I have everything here," She said, 'I trust that you have also arranged everything I asked for," Emmy said.
'Trust us on that, doc." The Detective said and they continued talking.
A message appeared on Miranda's phone from Sapphire, telling her to come and pick Amy from school because she is still there.
'I must go now, Ms. Smith," She told Mrs. Smith quietly and the woman nodded.
'But you can call me mom, Miranda, that would be nice," She said and Miranda only smiled, she nodded at Mr. Smith and gave Fiona a polite smile too, she turned to go and her eyes came into contact with Heather's heart and Heather could feel her heart rate pick up, the feeling of dread settling all over her. Fiona was staring at them and wondered what on earth was wrong when she saw Heather's flinch and averted gaze.
'Bye Heather," she said and Heather just kept staring at the table, Mrs. Smith glared at her daughter for not replying and being so rude.
Miranda nodded and bowed to the detective, doctor and Mike as she went away, a small smile on her lips.
Emmy couldn't stop staring at her, she knows that she is sure that she had seen the tattoo that showed on Miranda's waist because her shirt rode up when she tried to open the door. She also wondered where she knew the nurse that was entering to make her nod firmly to her, as if confirming something.

Sapphire looked around restlessly as she stood at the school's front gate with Andrea and Amy, her eyes were red and so were the kids. They all looked exhausted, they had searched everywhere before finally giving up and admitting to themselves that she had really been kidnapped, just like the message left for them said.
Sapphire kept clutching the paper in her hand and she felt her body relaxed a bit when Alexander's car pulled over in front of them, she was so tense and it shows in her movement in expression.
Alexander got down from the car and she rushed to hug him, he reciprocated the hug while patting her back in order to offer some comfort to her.
'Dad, are we going to get Andrea back?" Andrew asked with puffy eyes after Sapphire moved back from the hug.
Alexander bent down and raised the kid up, settling him comfortably in his arms.
'We are going to find her soon. In fact, we would be where she is in a bit, I am sorry if this offends you, you can whack me later, but I have a GPS tracker on each and every one of you, the tracker is in her shoes, her hairbands and hairpins, her bracelets and in the buttons of her uniform, we would get where she is in a matter of seconds, Zayn is working hard in the car," Alexander assured, pointing to the car where Nate and Zayn was in.
Sapphire didn't have time to be angry at him, the only feeling that clouds her mind is relief.
A car parked behind Alexander's and Luci came down from the car, Sapphire had informed her of the situation and she had told her that she didn't message her or anything.
'I am sorry that I am late, Sapphire, I was at the Carters' Mansion. So what the hell is wrong? Where is Andrea? Have you found her? Any leads? Did the kidnappers message you? I have the gut feeling that Oliver and his minion planned all of these." She rushed with frantic eyes, worried out of her mind.
'Alexander has GPS trackers on her and Zayn is working hard in the car to get a lead on where she is. I hope they get a lead soon." Sapphire explained and Luci exhaled.
'So what was that message all about? I am sure that I didn't send that message to you," Luci said, bringing out her phone to show her.
'I think there's some technology trick up to play here. We would worry about all that later but first text Claire, Alyssa and Alicia not to listen to any message they get after this. It would be better if they turn off their phones in order to ensure absolute safety," Sapphire stared at Alexander who was already talking to Zayn. Amy and Andrew were at the side, sitting quietly.
'Found it!" Zayn exclaimed and they all nodded knowingly to one another, it was a symbol that they should move their ass.
'Are you taking Andrew with you? What about Amy?"
'I would take her," they heard behind them and turned to look at Miranda who was coming towards them with a smile on her face, Luci couldn't help the flabbergasted expression that settled on her face without effort, if she had saw her on the road, she would have sworn that she is Heather.
'I am not taking Andrew. How about you stay behind with him and take him home, you would also inform Alyssa and the rest about the development," Sapphire said and Luci nodded.
'I am not allowing you to follow me, Sapphire," Alexander said but Sapphire just rolled her eyes at him.
'That is the only way to stop me from spiraling out of control or I else I don't even want to think about it,"
'You have no other choice, you are going to go home with Luci."
'Nope, I don't see other options here, Alexander. I am going to follow you, I trust you enough to take care of her but Alexander you have to understand that I have to follow you guys,"
'No, you are not doing that, you could get hurt Sapphire," he insisted but Sapphire stood her ground, frowns on both of their faces.
'No I won't, I would be super careful, please, let me do this, let my baby see me among those who came for her, came to rescue her." Sapphire insisted. 'Please, Alexander please," she pleaded.
'Alexander, we have got to move or we would be too late. I have sent my guys to that place, they would be there ahead of us, and we are all there, She would be okay, just let her follow us," Zayn said and Alexander furrowed his brows hard before turning to go to the car, Sapphire linked her arm with his but he didn't spared her a glance.
He was really angry at her but Sapphire wasn't going to back down on her decision, she would apologize to him for going against him later when her daughter is in safe hands, she glanced back at Luci.
'I would take care of Andrew so don't worry," Luci said and Sapphire nodded before entering the car with the guys and zooming off.

'Thanks for not complaining about the inconvenience, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, as well as you too Fiona," Emmy said and they all nodded, she had asked them to move aside, in order to provide enough space for her and Heather.
'Are you ready to proceed, Heather?" She asked and Heather nodded in confirmation.
'Ma'am, I am here with the things you told me to bring along with me," The nurse had said and Emmy had nodded, the nurse was wearing a nose mask, probably because
She wouldn't have brought her along if she hadn't forgotten that ticking clock and the recording of that sounded like slapping that she had brought in order to help Heather focus on her hypnosis.
Heather had consented to the hypnosis and had told her through Mike that she kept remembering the sound of a ticking clock but the rhythm was slower than the normal ticking sound of a clock and she seems stuck after the part where Oliver slapped her.
She was very desperate to know what she said and what Oliver had heard, she also added that she heard the clicking of heels too.
'I can't be more ready than I already am. I am very comfortable with the idea and I would be more than willing to do these things," Heather replied.
'Then we shall proceed," Emmy replied.
It was already time for the Smiths to leave but they stayed because they were curious about what the doctor would get, maybe they would also know where things went wrong with Heather.
