Aaron was supposed to be on this business trip for ten days and told me it might be delayed.
But he came back on the seventh day.My mother-in-law and sister-in-law happily welcomed him,but Aaron looked extremely tired and locked himself in the bedroom without saying a word.

I opened the door a little and saw Aaron crying bitterly inside. He made several phone calls but no one answered.
He suddenly threw his phone on the ground!
My sister-in-law and mother-in-law didn't know what had happened, but only I knew that my husband was heartbroken.
At night,I walked into the bedroom.Aaron was in a bad mood and told me to get out.But when I asked him where I could go,he fell silent.
I sat beside him and opened the wedding album.Because of the hasty wedding,we only had a few commemorative photos.
“This was taken when you came to pick me up for the wedding...”

“This was when we drank the nuptial cup...”
“This was...”
My voice was gentle, and Aaron was gradually attracted to look at these old photos...
My fingertips slid across Aaron's face in the photo,“Actually...you didn't look very happy on the wedding day...Sometimes I wonder, did you really want to marry me?”

I looked up.I even wanted to ask clearly. In his red-rimmed eyes, did he see me,who had been as humble as dust and cautious all along,or that woman who had become his true love and obsession?
Aaron's attitude towards me seemed to soften a bit,and he gradually focused more on the family. The frequency of his business trips decreased.
One day,my sister-in-law was hit by a car when she was drunk and was sent to the hospital with a broken leg.
In the hospital,my mother-in-law pointed at my nose and cursed! It must be because I smashed the shrine that my family was suffering!I must be a jinx!
“Mom,don't say that about Lily...”
Aaron rarely spoke up for me.But I said indifferently to my furious mother-in-law,“Since you think I bring bad luck to your family and I'm a jinx, then Aaron, let's get a divorce.”
Aaron's pupils suddenly constricted. He seemed to never have expected that I,who usually had a weak character, would take the initiative to propose divorce!
“Humph!Divorce then!My son works in a government institution and has a stable job! You,a country bumpkin, don't deserve him!But don't think too much!We won't give you a penny when we divorce!”My mother-in-law said harshly and turned around and left.
That day,Aaron tried to keep me,but I refused.
Aaron frowned tightly,“Don't regret it.”
I smiled,“Never.”
This home, this person...there was nothing left for me to cherish!
