Chapter 180: What's On Her Mind

1381words
Arielle adjusted her face mask and cap as the cashier wrapped up her goods, the news woman was ranting about how much of a criminal she was and how she was a mad woman on the loose.

‘Arielle Conrad is a psychopath that deserved to be placed under hold and isolated while being experimented, she shouldn't be left to roam the busy streets like she is just another woman' she had said so brazenly that Arielle wanted to reach into the T.V and just wring her head off.

'What makes it scarier is the fact that she looks like just another woman, it would be another story if she had any other distinctive trait to point her out but Arielle is just mundane, like any other damsel getting about their daily lives," The woman beside her replied and Arielle guessed that it was not news but some sort of program, there is no way a new reporter would be allowed to run her mouth off about the Conrad family like this.

There was a bounty on her head but she doubted that anyone would be brave enough to come to her to take her to the police, even though a hundred thousand dollars was no small money to some, they still cherished their lives more.

She got out of the twenty four hour store holding the daily amenities that she needed for the rest of the week.

She clicked her tongue in irritation when she saw her face plastered about everywhere and glared at the people who sneaked a look at her in disdain, she just adjusted her cap and resumed in her quick strides.

She entered her apartment and slammed the door shut behind her, threw what was in the packaged bag on the bed and went to stare at the wall where there was a lot of Sapphire's picture as well as those around her but Sapphire's was the most.

She went to sit on the chair and stared out of the window, she grabbed the cup and made herself a cup of instant coffee, it was late but she needed to stay awake, she would not give herself the illusion that Sapphire and Alexander weren't after her, even though there is physically no way to get to her apartment, she wouldn't spare herself the rest till she take Sapphire away.

It was Sapphire's fault that she lost her whole empire, it crashed because Sapphire meddled. She wouldn't have to stay here with no connection in and out of the country if she had just allowed herself to die peacefully.

The entire members of the Conrad family are bad, none of them is worth redemption, and they should all burn together in the deepest part of hell.

All of them scorned her mother, they made life difficult for her, and they called her evil without listening to her own part of the story and did all sorts of things to her.

Felix was evil on his own part, he joined hands with his mother only to betray her in the end, they were supposed to get the family inheritance clean and smooth but the man went another way when she saw that Madam Emiliana got a hint of their plan, exposing her mother and blaming everything on her, she turned her head to look and at the picture of Felix on the wall and smiled, there was a large X drawn over the face with bold red liquid.

That evil grandmother was evil too, there is no sin that's not worth a second chance in this world yet she chased Arielle's mother out on a rainy night even though the woman had nowhere to go, she laughed out loud when she saw the same mark on the grandmother's picture, it brought delight to her like she was seeing it for the first time and wasn't the one that drew it there in the first place.

Then there was Melissa who told her mother to try to get some clothing that would make her more suitable for a beggar since it would be hard for her to get something if she kept wearing those clothes that cost hundreds of dollars.

Arielle considered the fact that she only told her mother the truth but used the wrong way which seemed like insulting and allowed her to spend her lifetime in prison instead of straight out killing her, there was a single red line over her picture.

Venita was a little mice caught up in the game of big cats and she got gobbled down alive, and there was no way Arielle would never tolerate that skinny twat prancing all over her like she was the big shot, she needed to teach her a lesson but class went too long and the student fell asleep, she would have loved it if they remained together, they kind of clicked.

She raised her cup of coffee to the picture of Venita and smiled mockingly, if there was an onlooker they would have thought that it was a sad smile, the picture had flower designs all over it.

And there is the little bitch, hated by her own mother but was the grandmother's favorite.

She glanced at Marylynne's picture with disinterest. The woman didn't make her mother's life easier but she let her off because she paid the wages of her sin by being horrible to Sapphire and useless in general.

Matthew wasn't there when her mother used to be there and Max and Ruby were like the sons that her mother never had, they made her life easier and they always had their innocent ways to make her smile, both of them were precious to her mother so she didn't dared to hurt them lest she disrespect the woman.

And Sapphire! The only one she ever wanted to end but she followed the principle of saving the best for the last and she found herself regretting it.

The little idiot had went to her mother in that heavy rain on that night and smiled at her mother, she hugged her and stayed with her for a bit, telling her all of the lies that she didn't needed and assured her that all would be okay and back to normal even though all of them knew that it won't, she hate the lot of them the most, the type of people who gives themselves the wrong type of hope even when there is no and would never be a silver lining.

She was a liar! A hypocrite! A taciturn! A Fake! She was the one that drove her mother to madness! She was the one that assured her that she would talk to Madam Emiliana only to never show up again! She was the one that made a promise and broke it! Now she is going to die for it! All the wealth of the Conrad family was a big bonus for her anyways, so it wouldn't make any difference if they all burn together in the deepest pit of all hell! She would really die but she knows that she would drag Sapphire along with her! She would make sure of it!

Her thought was on a rollercoaster and when it came to an halt, she had already torn a lot of Sapphire's pictures to a thousand pieces.

She shook her head, doing this won't make her feel any better, and all she needed to see was her lifeless body in a pool of blood that was her own.

With that thought in mind, she took her gun from the drawer that it was kept in and snatched the bag that she hung on the wall and squeezed the gun in it along with other thousand things that were in the bag.

She had come to a decision.

She wouldn't be able to let go if Sapphire is not gone and if she isn't able to kill Sapphire, one of her own would suffice, there is no dilly dallying around it.

She would go to the Aldine Mansion now and would be damned if she didn't take at least a soul with her to hell, she would come back from grave if that soul isn't someone close to Sapphire's heart, she swears on it.
