"Jace do not stay out today" my mom nagged as I ran to the door
"Yeah yeah" I yell back as I slam the door behind me. I have one day till my birthday and my party won't be complete till Shane Bass agrees to come. He's the new guy in school and he is unbelievably hot but he plays hard to get not that I don't like that, I like a guy who gives a challenge. I was running late for class but I don't care I'm Jace Sonders.
When I walked into class I noticed an open seat near Shane and I went for it 'time to make my move'.
I slid into the seat "changed your mind yet?" I whisper leaning next to him "About what?" he says back in that sexy French accent
"Coming to my party" I grinned
"Not likely"
"I'm not gonna give up until you say you'll come"
"Don't hold your breath then" he says and we got interrupted by the teacher "Gentlemen care to join the rest of the class?" we stopped and stared forward
Few hours into the day and I was starting to panic, we only have 3 periods left and I need him to say
yes. I was heading to lunch meeting with my older brother, he's actually a teacher in the school and since he was new here he has been having lunch with me and my best friend Jonah instead of going to the teacher's lounge "Billy you can't keep eating lunch with us it's pathetic"
"It's Mr. Sonders to you" he says sitting down
"It's ok Mr. Sonders you can eat with us anytime you want"
"Jonah you can call me Billy" Jonah has a massive crush my brother and Billy knew it but too bad he was straight
"Billy oh sorry I mean Mr. Sonders how's teaching the 10th grade?" I asked biting my apple
"Great! it's easy when you look like me, the girls do as I say and the guys also to try and be cool with me" I smiled
"Jonah don't look now but here comes Shane" Jonah looks despite my instructions and so did Billy "Oh so you like Shane huh?" he gave a mysterious smile then he calls "Shane!"
"Billy don't" but it was too late because here comes Shane "Yes Mr. Sonders?" he walks up to us
"Do you need anything to help you catch up? I know it's your first week and all"
"That'd be great, I'll stop by your class later" he says then walks away I can't believe him "how do you know Shane?"
"He's in my credits recovery class for geometry, he needs the credit to graduate" Billy only called him to shove it in my face
"So what I'm hearing is he needs a tutor"
Our last period class was gym and I had to come up with a plan to get him to come to my party. as we're in the locker room changing I look over as Shane pulls his shirt over his head exposing a body made by the bare hands of angels, I walked over to him 'last chance Jace' as everyone exits the room heading to gym I say "where does one go to get muscles like that?"
"The gym" he replied back and I chuckle
"You know Shane it would make me very happy if you came to my party" I said running my finger along his abs
"And what if I don't care about your happiness?" he really wasn't making this easy
I put on my best pouty face "but but I want you to come, for me?" I batted my eyes "please?" I continue "and word on the street is you need a math tutor, and I happen to be a math genius. come to my party and I can for sure help you"
He smiles coming closer to me and I lean against the lockers, he comes closer leaning in to kiss me 'this was really happening' his lips slowly touches mine and I could feel about a thousand volt of electricity sparking as our tongues met and after a minute he slowly pulls away and I kept my eyes closed still feeling the sensation of his lips on mine, then he leans to my ear so close his lips brushes against my ears and whispers "vos lèvres un goût de fraises" my breathing quickened and I begged him to say it again, he chuckles and says "I'll tell you at your party". And then walks away.
I have a feeling tomorrow night is going to be the best night of my life.
